Goodbye Te Moana

Te Moana

Inevitably, the time came to say goodbye to Te Moana. We had some great times and the boat was a marvel. What a wonderful time to look back on!

Here are a few images from our last weekend on the boat and of the new owners taking delivery on 9th December 2011:

About Te Moana

This is the private weblog of Marius Coomans. My wife, Joy and I were the proud owners of Te Moana, a Lagoon 380 Catamaran (hull #153). This Picture was taken at the July 2002 Sydney Boatshow, just before we took delivery of her.

Most of the time we sailed around Pittwater and Broken Bay (that's just north of Sydney in Australia). Occasionally you'd find us sailing a bit further afield to explore the East Coast of Australia.

I regularly posted our sailing experiences with Te Moana. Nothing highly adventurous - most of the time we sailed only on weekends. Click on any of the dates in the right column to check out our adventures.

We belonged to the RPAYC cruising division and you saw us report on their cruises occasionally. At the same time I was keen on my Canon Powershot G2 camera, so expect lots of pictures.
