Don Walter rang up earlier in the week to ask if I was interested in flying up to Mooloolaba and sailing back to Sydney on Legless. That was an offer too good to refuse. So this afternoon I'm off. You can track progress as per usual on Skipr.

My wife Carol and I just bought a 380. She is currently under construction and scheduled for delivery in December. I stumbled on your web site and have enjoyed following your progress. I like the look of your web site/blog. Did you have it custom designed, or is it a product of one of the blog entities?

Nice to find you here. This site is a stock standard "Movable Type" weblog. You'd need to host it somewhere, but it's fairly straightforward. I also built a site for my yachtclub using Typepad ( http://alfredscruising.typepad.com ), which is a hosted weblog service which is easy to set up and maintain.

Re: Dinghy for L380
We are getting ready to buy a dinghy for 'Lucy' and need some advise. We were told by the Lagoon dealer that a 10' dinghy would fit best because the distance between the hulls at the davits is 11'2". However, I wanted a larger dinghy - around 12'. Does anyone have experience with raising larger dinghies (over 11') on the 380? It seems like a larger dinghy would clear the hulls once it is raised, but you might have to raise one end first and then the other to make it clear the hulls. Any thoughts appreciated.
