We had an easy weekend on Te Moana. We stayed at the Marina on Saturday night and went for a quiet motor around Pittwater's Southern bays on Sunday morning. Beautiful homes and lots of boats. The above "boat" which we saw in McCarr's creek, deserves the title "Houseboat" us much as anything I've seen on the water.

Hi folks
Enjoyed browsing around your informative site. The picture of the storm is very impressive.
I think the above house boat belongs to James Morrison the musician. I remember him building it off the end of the marina about 3 years ago. Its a funny sight to see it on a morring at the Basin!
Best wishes
Ronan ( Riverdance)
Thanks for your comment, Ronan. The same day I took this picture at MacCarrs Creek, we saw another one somewhat like it in Elvina Bay with a couple of older guys sitting on their "front porch" fishing and having a beer. Would have been a top shot! But I didn't have the presence of mind to take a picture. Talking about "The One That Got Away" is as much a part of taking photographs as when fishing!
